The Environment Cell stands as a bastion of environmental consciousness, committed to sensitizing, creating awareness, and educating students on the critical need for the preservation and conservation of our precious natural resources. At the heart of our mission is the cultivation of love and respect for nature among students. Through a myriad of activities, we aim to instill a deep understanding of the importance of protecting the environment.

The Environment Cell is a national cell of the Department of Holistic Education (DHE). DHE is a national educational transformation platform advancing holistic learning, innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and value-based education aligned with NEP 2020.
The Environment Cell stands as a bastion of environmental consciousness, committed to sensitizing, creating awareness, and educating students on the critical need for the preservation and conservation of our precious natural resources. At the heart of our mission is the cultivation of love and respect for nature among students. Through a myriad of activities, we aim to instill a deep understanding of the importance of protecting the environment.
Across Vidya Bharati schools and partner institutions, the Environment Cell carries out this mandate through school coordinators and programs announced on the notice board and events pages.
Guiding focus: Nurturing environmental stewardship among students.. This supports holistic development alongside academic and vocational growth within DHE's national cell network.
Community-facing cells strengthen trust, environmental stewardship, family–school collaboration, and grievance redressal research—supporting a secure and participatory educational environment for stakeholders.
Participation pathways run through school coordinators and institutional communication, with announcements on the DHE notice board and events pages when programs are open.
